The IT Committee supports the development of IFexchange.
Its main task is to improve the system, adapting it to the needs of the users, to the new products and markets and to the technical environment, making it more and more complete and user-friendly.
It proposes corrections, enhancements and developments based on the users’ requests, the provider's proposals and the GM's decisions. It keeps the system up to date.
It reports to the Board of Directors.
It is the interface between the system provider and the users.
It monitors the whole process of implementing improvements (analysis of the needs, technical specifications, extensive explanation of the requirements to the provider, request for offers, cost analysis, ordering, organization and follow up of the implementation process, extensive testing of the prototypes delivered by the supplier, acceptance of the deliveries, planning of the upgrades, etc.).
