According to the first results of our 2010 Global Industry Activity Report, the Worldwide Factoring industry turnover in 2009 can be estimated at approximately 1.232 billion Euro, which is a only a slight decrease compared to 2008. Approximately 118.000 staff members in 2000 factoring companies (or factoring Bank Divisions) have serviced more than 460.000 factoring clients in 2009, who together used 287 million € of factoring finance at the end of the year. Impressive figures that confirm the important role our industry plays in the world of corporate finance. But the industry still lacks sometimes a clear identity and
